Located in Westwood, New Jersey, Micro-Surgeon is conveniently situated within 25 miles of the New York metropolitan area. Although most drives are shipped to them from all over the country, they recognize that many people feel more comfortable if they deal with a local facility. As a result many drives are brought to their premises in person. They invite customers who feel more comfortable hand-delivering their drive(s) to do so.
They have been located in their present facility since 1985. They have a Class-100 clean room facility to ensure satisfaction of warranty requirements for those drives still under warranty from the manufacturer. They maintain state-of-the-art equipment custom-engineered for the data recovery industry and are continually upgrading their tools and processes to keep up with changing drive technologies. Their customer base over the years has run the gamut from government agencies to Big Five accounting firms to individual users.
